Treasured One

We cannot draw our gaze away. She is cherished, treasured, adored. She is a woman deeply loved. Married one. There is nothing more beautiful or free than a woman who is deeply loved. Promises have been spoken, and she holds her head high.
She radiates royalty, for she bears witness within her the image of the bride of a Great King. We weep because she tells our story. The story that is woven in with the white lace and veil that graces her blushed cheeks. Our King has made promises, and sealed us for that day. As we wait, we watch. We hope.
But her day, this day, is here now as she embraces the love of her youth. Her husband. The man who will hold her and keep her. She will whisper soft words of love and encouragement in the days to come as she strokes his brow. He will lead her and love her, and lay down his life for her. We, the friends and family, gather round to witness this day, this beginning. This lifetime. We bless and we pray. Yes, for a lifetime.

Scott and Lauren’s Wedding

I have been dying to post this blog, and I know Lauren has been dying for me to finally finish these pictures! Well, I did and here are some of the highlights of this fantastic day! This wedding was special for me for so many reasons. Scott and Lauren are some of the dearest people I know. I was honored when they secured me for their wedding almost two years ago! Their engagement shoot was my first preview of how unique and special they are, and how precious their relationship is. They have so much fun together, and Scott looks at her like he is looking into heaven. So very sweet. This was also my last wedding, at least for awhile, as I feel I will be taking my photography in a different direction, so this wedding was bittersweet for me. Blessings, Scott and Lauren. I love you both!!!

Cory and Cami got married!

On March the 2oth, on an unseasonably warm and sunny Saturday, Cory and Cami officially tied the knot! It was such a fun day. They chose to see each other before the ceremony and share a few intimate moments before the day got underway. I felt so honored to be part of such a tender moment.
Then, they took care of all their photos ahead of time. Such a gift to all their guests! Here are a few highlights from their day. Blessings to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lebovitz! You were made for each other.

Jasmine and Jeremy’s Fall Wedding

Jasmine and Jeremy were married on a beautiful Fall day this November. I think it was God’s way of blowing them a kiss, giving them a kaleidoscope of colors in the trees and sweet sunshine. They agreed to see one another before the ceremony and were able to share some sweet moments before all the busy plans of the day began. They truly are made for one another and it was such a blessing to photograph them in their joy as they made their vows and gave sweet kisses to one another.

Not your ordinary bride

This is Aubrey, my brave and creative bride from this summer. I had to repost her photos on the new blog as she is so stunning. I loved her attitude about getting the most out of her dress! Thanks so much to Allen Mullins and Year One, who got us the smokin’ Camaro. Wouldn’t have been near as cool without it! She is most happily married now. I am so glad we took the time to photograph her in her gown before the big day!
