Hope
My friends Enrique and Evelyn are expecting their first child in less than a month. They are so incredibly ecstatic. Today, during our session they both lit up when their baby boy moved in his mommy’s belly. The joy on their faces was so sweet.
I love the word expecting. It means we are waiting in hope for something we believe will happen. Evelyn and Enrique are waiting in hope to see their baby face to face very soon.
When I see the joy on their faces in this image I see that God is good. He is kind. Yes, this world is wrought with pain. It is broken, awaiting its redemption when the Lord returns. But, until then God continues to bless. He gently leads us to himself through his kindness. We can expect that. We can hope in him.
