Trey’s Senior Session
Posted on 06. Sep, 2010 by maryanne.
I really enjoyed our time with Trey Marksberry, a very handsome and easy to be around young man. He is fun, well rounded, and a complete natural in front of the camera. ( in spite of his protests about not being good at any of this.:)). I think the camera disagrees with you, Trey! See for yourself.

A Senior Photo Session with Ethan
Posted on 23. Aug, 2010 by maryanne.
This is Ethan. He is an adorable young man, very centered in who he is, and yes, girls right now is taken.
He is the son of some very dear friends of ours, Brad and Debbie Slawter. Brad and Debbie were with Chris and me on our very first official date. They were already engaged to be married at the time, and were gracious enough to spend time with the “new couple”. Chris and Brad have actually been friends for much longer than that, and I will never forget the smile on his face that night, as if he knew Chris and I would go on to be together forever. Their family is special to ours, and our kids have grown up great friends, even though they have not lived in close proximity to one another for very long at all. My girls adore their eldest, Aubrey, and Ethan and Johnny have so much in common. I think if they lived here, they would be inseparable, both loving guitar, good music, and the same sense of humor and spirit of adventure.
Anyway, they came through town several weeks ago and asked me to shoot Ethan’s senior photos. I was honored to do so. It was about 99 degrees that day. I thought we would melt in the afternoon sun, but we did great. Ethan kept us laughing and with Johnny behind the soft box, we had it coming from all directions. It was a good day. Plus, look at this kid! What a joy to be around.
We love you Slawter family! Happy senior year! It goes by so fast.

Justin Davis Senior Shoot
Posted on 01. Jun, 2010 by maryanne.
Johnny and I had a great time shooting Justin Davis’s senior photo session on his beautiful family farm in Dacula, GA. We certainly didn’t have a shortage of beautiful places to shoot. The light was perfect as well as the weather. My favorite photos of the day were in an old barn on the property. The sunlight was beaming through the wooden planks and I had Johnny throw some dust behind Justin to get a nice hazy effect. Beautiful. We did have to leave there pretty quickly though; Evidently the bees that were nesting in the ground didn’t take too kindly to their dust being thrown around. Yikes! I can move fast at the sound of an angry bee.
Congratulations, Justin.

Beau

I had the privilege of photographing the very distinguished Beau Brannon for his senior photo session last week. Beau is a very talented and intelligent young man, and yet so humble and sweet. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with him. It was very hot, (Georgia style) and he remained patient even while getting shots done in a black suit and a leather jacket. I was impressed! We had fun. Enjoy some of the results below. I think I see a little James Dean in here somewhere.

Taylor Ronne, Senior Extraordinaire
Posted on 04. Nov, 2009 by maryanne.
I had the pleasure of photographing Taylor Ronne last week for his senior photos. What a great guy! Taylor is so funny and talented. His mom and dad, Deb and Dave, are good friends of ours and Dave serves with my husband, Chris, at 12 Stone Church in the redemptive arts department.
As you can tell, Taylor loves his wheels, as most teenage boys do, his dogs, and his family, who all came to watch and participate behind the scenes. We had such a great time. I always love it when my kids assist me, and Annie assisted me on this shoot, bringing the tunes and helping everyone to loosen up and dance. :)
Taylor, I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! May your senior year be your best one yet!

Evan Raines

I had the joy of photographing this handsome senior a couple weeks ago. Evan loves nature and the water, so we chose to go to Hurricane Shoals Park , where there are plenty of places for a young man to explore. Aside from dropping my pocket wizard in the river ( which Johnny retrieved and rescued!), it was a very restful and enjoyable shoot. Here are just a few of our time with Evan.

Sutton

I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Sutton for her senior pictures last week. As you can see from the photos below, she is stunning and so at ease in front of the camera. The best part is, Sutton has a beautiful heart too. I have known her parents for many years and they are such wonderful people.
Blessings on your senior year, Sutton. May it be your best and most favorite year in high school!
