Day 60 Jonquils in Blue Teacups

March 2, 2017

Lovely

Today was the closest I have come to quitting this project. But, I am pressing on- still a day behind.

Katie and I gathered these lovely jonquils in the pasture yesterday. I never knew we had at least four different varieties blooming out there. There are tiny clustered ones, double blooming ones, pale colored ones and deep yellow ones. I love them all.

I gathered them into my blue and white tea cups today because I love yellow and blue together. I love playing with the flowers. I am adding them to my list of God’s good gifts.

Pressing on. Love and blessings to you all today.

Psalm 111:2 ~”Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.”

Delight

Sweet

Mary Anne, thank you for sharing your heart and your gift of seeing beauty , capturing it, and pointing us towards the God who loves us so. Your images and words are a balm to my heart every morning when the burdens of life are pressing down on me. I lost my mom almost 11 years ago and I know the ebb and flow of grief that can be overwhelming sometimes, even now. I will pray for you that you peace, hope and even joy fill your days, even through your grief.
