365 Project 2014

365 2014 Day 2

January 2, 2014

Barren Beauty

Hello lovely Nest. Womb in the wind, I see you empty and aching for those that have flown. But you shine. How you must long to comfort and protect once more, your glistening places telling stories of joys gone by and yet calling for more to come.  Woven together with the utmost intention, you represent life and motherhood.

I know you little Nest.

I treasure all that you are and I say to you that your best days are yet to come. Fear not the empty, for you will be filled by God himself. There is beauty in the barren for only empty vessels can hold the glory.

Hold on tight sweet Nest. You are loved.

Waiting for the Glory

Ephesians 3:18-19 ~”And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”

Your writing is part of my daily devotion. Thank you for the hard work I know you have ahead. God, bless Mary Anne throughout this project. Help her to see you throughout the year and help us to see you through her eyes as never before. We love this gift you have given her and rejoice in her praise. Father, you are our everything and we give this all to you. Amen.
