365 Project Day 64: Reflection

By In 365 Project 2011
Upside Down Kingdom

Canon 5D  Mark ll, 100mm 2.8 macro, 3.2 aperture, 1/60 shutter/ 320 ISO

I love how the one raindrop  on this Daffodil is reflecting a  whole field of flowers in the near distance. One perfect raindrop telling a much bigger story. The small is revealing the great.

This is the beauty of the upside down Kingdom, where the least shall be the greatest, the first will be the last and last will be first, the little child is held in honor, the weak are made strong, and the servant becomes the master. Where faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains, a widow’s two coins are greater than the rich man’s gift, where laying down your life is where you begin to live it, and where a great King bends to wash the feet of those He loves.

Upside down. Can you see it?

Luke 18:16~ “But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

I love the way you name the pictures. I think it’s my favorite part. Like “Cherished”… I wouldn’t have been caught up in it so deeply without that one word to say the whole story somehow.

    Love you.

These images are so wonderful! I love them. My roommate says it is amazing what you “see”. The emphasis on that word speaks so much. A world within a drop, a word, a picture.
