Winter’s pups are 2 weeks old and things are pretty crazy at my house. Janey’s puppies are trickling out the door to their new families this week and Winter’s puppies are starting to walk and open their eyes. Janey’s puppies are in the basement and Winter’s are upstairs in Annie’s old room so I am running up and down stairs all day long.
It has been a trying season both physically and emotionally. I have definitely been in over my head with two litters of puppies. But here’s the thing – I have wept in worship praying over these puppies. I know that may seem silly to some. I can’t help it. God shows himself beautifully and strong in the sweet faces of puppies. He speaks to me about who he is when I am in the puppy pen. He is always at the ready to tell us about who he is and his great love for us- even through puppies.
He is good.
I will post pictures of Janey’s pups with their new families soon.
Anyway, back to these babies. They are precious. Here they are in their original birth order.
Royal blue boy is a chunky man. He was the first to be born and was born right on the welcome mat of our home. Winter was having trouble delivering him so we walked her outside and she had him right at the front door. I was grateful Chris was with me to catch him. Welcome, little man.
Pink collar girl is such a sweetie. She has a blocky little head like her maternal grandmother who is an English Cream Retriever. She is beautiful.
Green collar boy has a curly little teddy bear face. I love his curly whiskers.
Light blue collar girl has a wisp of white on her forehead and back paws. She is so precious.
Purple collar girl is a dark red with four white paws and a white chest. She is a beauty.
Yellow collar girl has a white blaze and four white paws. She is also a curly girl.
Red collar girl also has four white paws and is a very dark red. She also has white on her chest.
Lavender collar girl is a medium red with white on her rear paws and chest. She has a little teddy bear face too.
Okay that’s the team! More updates soon!
