The puppies were two weeks old yesterday. Today they had their first vet appointment and everyone checked out fine! They are opening their eyes (and ears) this week and beginning to play a bit with each other. Janey has needed a bit more support as she is making 7 meals a day every two hours for these babies. She is doing well with our TLC.
Some of the pups are a little chunkier than the others so I am having to move them around while they are nursing so no one gets all the best milk. Little royal blue collar is our tiniest pup and we are supplementing him throughout the day with a bottle to catch him up. Dr. Anderson says he will be just fine though.
Every day I hold each puppy and tell them how loved and precious they are. They are thoroughly prayed over.
Here are the pups in their original birth order.
Light blue collar girl is such a snuggle pup. We adore her wrinkly snout and shiny fur.
Purple collar girl is getting quite curly. When she is awake her eyes are so bright and beautiful.
So far it looks like Red collar boy has some blue eyes. They will probably fade to a light golden or green when he is older. He is so handsome.
Royal Blue collar boy is our smallest baby. He is very gentle and kind. We love his markings and sweet nature.
Green collar girl is also very cuddly. My goodness they all are! (They are held daily.) I love her soft curls.
Little Yellow collar was our tiniest pup but he is quickly getting chunky. We love his shiny red fur and white back feet.
Orange collar boy is also sporting some blue eyes. He loved playing with the teddy bear during this shoot. He is one big affectionate boy. He loves to be held and snuggled.
Well that is all for now. We do have an opening for a pup in this litter right now so if you want an application please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blessings and peace,
